We talked about how Hyatt’s Andaz brand is eliminating the front desk and concierge AND giving away free amenities. Is that something other hotels should imitate? How how John Wallis (VP Strategy at Hyatt) and his team are disrupting the front desk at their hotels. Great post! Thanks for outlining the various options for when things at the airport go wrong. I will definitely keep the alternative flight and hotel finder applications in mind if I'm ever (hopefully not!) in this situation.
